Amanda Heim currently serves as a Nutrition Counselor at the New York Hotel Trades Council & Hotel Association of NYC (NYHTC & HANYC) Employee Benefit Funds. In this role, Amanda provides critical nutrition counseling at health centers throughout New York City, working in close coordination with a multidisciplinary team of doctors and medical practitioners. 

Amanda’s professional journey began with a strong foundation of resilience and community support. As one of the inaugural recipients of the Happy Jack Fund Memorial Scholarship, she pursued her passion for health at Penn State University, where she earned her degree in Nutrition. 

Joining the Board of Directors is a true full-circle moment for Amanda. She is deeply honored to join the leadership of the very organization that supported her journey—one that remains incredibly close to her heart for its dedication to those navigating sibling loss and providing a vital path forward.
