The Happy Jack 5k is an annual, family friendly 5k walk/run that takes place in October, on or around Jack's birthday. This race was our first event put together to help support the fund and last year, even during a pandemic, we were able to raise over $4,000. The race is held in New City, NY and is an out-and-back style race beginning and ending in Germonds Park with traffic being controlled by the Clarkstown Police Department/Auxiliary Police. Additionally, we also offer a walker's route (2 miles) as well as a kid’s fun run (up to 8 years old) prior to the 5k.
Our Annual Happy Jack 5K is a great opportunity to come together to celebrate our son’s life as well as help raise money to help other families within our community! There are several ways to be a part of The Happy Jack Fund such as fundraising, forming a team to compete, volunteering on race day, or just coming out to support the runners. These are easy to do and a great way to share the mission of The Happy Jack Fund with family, friends, and colleagues. Event shirts will be given to the first 200 participants registered

We realize that Covid is still very real, and we will be following all local, State, and Federal Government regulations. As this is an outdoor event, we strongly urge participants and spectators to use social distancing and wear a face-covering where applicable.
